The Role
As a member of the DRC's Research & Innovation team, the Coordinator will manage key research projects and provide support to build, organize and accomplish all the team's activities
This includes conducting research and analysis to support key initiatives related to economic development, education and workforce, diversity, inclusion, and community engagement.
The Coordinator will help tell the Dallas-Fort Worth “story” using various data sources to create clear, compelling presentations that can stand on their own or complement research studies.
Reporting Structure
This individual will report directly to the Senior Vice President of Research and Innovation and assist with overall operations of this team.

Key Responsibilities
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty and responsibility satisfactorily. The duties and responsibilities include the following, though other duties may be assigned.
- Compile, create, query, map and analyze economic and demographic data through primary and secondary research.
- Manage quarterly Cost of Living survey
- Manage research needs for Southern Dallas County initiative
- Manage special projects as assigned
- Coordinate council, committee, task force, and other meetings for the team
- Monitor economic, demographic, and industry trends for relevance to Chamber programs.
- Assist with report-building, presentations, social media, and similar activities
- Respond to research requests from internal and external sources.
- Leverage the DRC's CRM system to create, maintain and report on project activity
