Trinity Solar, the Northeast largest privately-owned solar integrator, is looking for a Solar Inspection Technician.. The Inspection Technician is responsible for performing solar inspections and ensuring the installations are up to code. An ideal candidate will be detail oriented, self-motivated, and able to work independently and as a team to attain set goals. This person must be able to adapt well to change, work in a fast paced, and an ever-changing environment.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Attend daily meetings with Inspection Coordinator & Field Manager
  • Perform pre-inspection audits prior to inspectors arrival
  • Open electrical panels and junction boxes so the inspector can observe
  • Obtain necessary pictures and documents when needed
  • Rivet placards, obtain final inspection stickers Set up and tie off ladders as necessary for city / county inspectors
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with local inspection offices
  • Work independently with minimum supervision
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned

Qualifications & Experience

  • HS Diploma or higher education
  • 1 year of Inspections experience preferred
  • Possess strong interpersonal/human relations skills
  • Effective communication, problem solving and writing skills
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
  • Strong Work Ethic
  • Computer Skills: Microsoft suite, adobe acrobat. Ability to learn computer programs quickly - Salesforce experience a plus.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Electrical experience a plus.
  • Should not have a fear of heights
  • Must possess current drivers license, a clean valid driving record and pass pre-hire drug screening and background check. Company vehicle will be provided for inspection
