Basic Functions:
The Commercial Loan Services Representative II (“CLSRII”) provides general commercial loan administrative support to the commercial banking staff and works closely with the bank’s Relationship Managers, in coordination with the Commercial Loan Specialist(s), and loan administration personnel to provide excellent customer service in the origination and servicing of commercial loans. The CLSRII reports to the Commercial Loan Operations Manager.
Essential Job Duties:
The responsibilities of the Commercial Loan Services Representative II include but are not limited to:
- Complete or assist with special projects
- Credit file setup and maintenance
- Perform daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports
- Apply payments, facilitate funds transfers, process wires, complete draw requests, etc.
- Board loan transactions
- File and record original documents
- Coordinate appraisals
- Prepare Amortization Schedules
- Process paid notes
- Prepare collateral releases
- Scan and archive documents
- Quality Control – File Maintenance Review
- Complete audit confirmations
- Assist RM’s with customers' inquiries
- Perform participation settlements and apply payments
- Process commercial tax and insurance escrow setup, analysis, maintenance, and disbursements
- Audit and balance commercial GL accounts
- Complete Account Verifications
- Maintain Flood Insurance
- Record documents via eFile
The Commercial Loan Services Representative II will perform various other duties as assigned and conduct all duties in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and Bank policies and procedures.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
The CLSRII is expected to have experience in working with highly detailed information, have a comprehensive knowledge of the commercial loan processing function, be able to utilize loan systems (Fiserv) and software (LaserPro) to accurately perform necessary tasks and file maintenance, and display proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel. Additionally, the CLSRII should have a strong work ethic, upbeat personality, and a passion for customer service. Attention to detail and deadlines is crucial, as is the ability to prioritize and multi-task. The CLSRII should be a self-starter and willing to learn.
Training and Experience:
A Commercial Loan Service Representative II should have at least 3 years of loan servicing, professional administrative or general banking experience (preferably commercial). Individuals without prior loan documentation experience but significant administrative, technical, and/or process-management experience are encouraged to apply.
This is a full time, non-exempt position eligible for a robust benefit package.
The successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen, consumer credit check and background check is required.
