- 3 years of experience EDM or wire/electrode EDM, preferred.
- 5S standards experience preferred.
- Prior experience working in aerospace manufacturing industry.
- 5 axis and/or 3 axis and surface grinding experience required.
- Strong math skills demonstrated through assessment during hiring process.
- Must be able to measure parts within tight tolerances.
- Must be able to read indicators and use tools as detailed above.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English for customer, job and equipment specifications.
Physical Demands
- Talking, hearing and using hands to operate machining equipment.
- Ability to load parts into a machine at or above waist height.
- Must be able to lift at least 25lbs frequently and on occasion up to 50lbs, must be able to stand for long periods of time.
- Ability to use a computer is preferred.
- Must be able to work on your feet 8-10 hours per day in a manufacturing environment.
- Physical ability to do work requiring frequent lifting, twisting, standing, stooping and bending.
- Working Environment
Usual manufacturing environment with temperature fluctuations, noise from and interactions with equipment, and safety standards of PPE and practices required.
