Description

Barcel USA is currently in search of a dynamic and collaborative PR & Brand Building Specialist who is self-driven, hands-on, and motivated to spearhead the implementation of innovative and impactful marketing and communications strategies. The ideal candidate should possess a proven track record of successfully executing marketing and communications initiatives within an entrepreneurial setting, aligning efforts with established organizational goals. As Barcel USA undergoes an exciting phase of strategic expansion, the Associate Brand Manager will play a crucial role and contribute significantly to the expansion of our brand presence.

Team

  • Managing and facilitating efficient communication within the organization, keeping members abreast of essential initiatives, programs, and updates

 

Partnership Development

  • Identify, develop and maintain strategic partnerships with stakeholders, influencers and key actors in the relevant industries to generate growth opportunities
  • Uncover opportunities to optimize performance and incremental revenue by delivering data-backed insights and recommendations
  • Bring your analytical A-game. Share trends and provide meaningful insights to unlock opportunities
  • Represent the brand at various events whilst building key contacts and meaningful partnerships

Public Relations & Brand Marketing

  • Work with manager to support PR initiatives such as campaign launches, product drops and brand activations
  • Liaise with agencies to ensure all messaging, talking points and content is approved and on brand through cross-functional partnership. Strong writing skills, presentation skills and attention to grammar required.
  • Precision and attention needed to oversee timelines and keep brand strategies on track in partnership with agencies and brand strategy team.
  • Support manager with creative brief execution in a timely manner.

 Administrative

  • Invoice management and tracking
  • Monthly and weekly reporting
  • Manage product closet and product fulfilment
  • Support special projects and new initiatives as needed

Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  •  Must have 3 to 5 years of marketing experience for a retail-focused, CPG, or ecommerce brand focusing on partnerships and/or public relations.
  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications or similar field
  • Functional knowledge of media and public relations best practices, trends, and measurement.
  • A plus, experience working with talent such as music houses, celebrities, athletes, social influencers, etc.
  • Proactive communicator and problem solver with a positive attitude
  • Social media savvy, always staying on top of new trends and features
  • Clear communication and timeliness liaising between agencies and Company
  • Ability to support multiple priorities simultaneously with strong attention to detail
