Job Knowledge, Core Competencies and Expectations
- Knowledge of pickleball rules and regulations
- Ability to manage groups of players of varying abilities and run programs accordingly.
- Knowledge of and ability to perform required role in emergency situations.
Job Tasks/Duties
- Promote, coordinate and manage league and Open Play programs.
- Assist with special events and tournaments.
- Maintain close communication with Front Desk Ranch Hand about program activities.
- Occasionally assist Front Desk Ranch Hand if needed.
- Know of daily activities, programs and events taking place in the facility.
- Complete incident reports for accidents and injuries.
- Report unusual occurrences or requests to the manager.
- Familiar with all safety and emergency procedures and accident prevention policies.
- May conduct private and group lessons and clinics.
- Assist with special and private events as schedule allows.
- Attend meetings as required.
- Help keep the facility clean and in proper order.
Licenses and Special Requirements
- Will be required to get First Aid/CPR/AED, SafeSport and concussion protocol training
- PPR certification is desirable
Physical Demands and Work Environment
- Regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and outside weather conditions.
- Occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; high, precarious places; extreme cold; extreme heat; risk of electrical shock; and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.
- Able to meet and perform the physical requirements and to work effectively in an environment which is typical of this position.
- Frequent lifting, bending, climbing, stooping and pulling.
- Frequent repetitive motions.
- Continuous standing and walking.
Work Schedule:
- Sufficient stamina to tolerate hot and humid outdoor weather for several consecutive hours.
