The Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for routine general maintenance and repairs to all facets of the refrigerated warehouse, as well as perform complex day-to-day repairs on distribution center equipment. This position will also provide general maintenance support to the entire facility and offices as needed.
Hours:
Sunday - Thursday 8am-4:30pm
Essential Functions:

- Perform preventative maintenance and repairs to all facets of the refrigeration equipment and distribution center equipment and machines, such as conveyer systems and material handling equipment.
- Provide general maintenance to include basic construction needs (drywall, framing, painting).
- Control the equipment set points to accommodate the needs of our customers and to maintain the quality of the product.
- Ability to construct, disassemble, and repair storage equipment (i.e. pallet racking, CFR racking and shelving).
- Ability to maintain, repair and troubleshoot electrical and plumbing problems.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Work directly with outside contractors as needed assuring all equipment is maintained allowing for continuous operation of distribution center.
Work Environment:
This position operates in a warehouse and cooler environment (34 degrees).

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk, hear, and read. This position is very active and requires standing and sitting for periods of time, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching and operating equipment. The employee must be able to lift and or move items up to 60 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
