Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree required, degree in higher education or related field preferred.
- Minimum of five years of relevant experience in a registrar’s office or similar role in higher education is required.
- Professional experience in a college or university registrar’s office is a plus; Three years of senior-level records management experience is required.
- Thorough knowledge of higher education registration processing, grading systems and best practices in academic policy administration.
- Strong working knowledge of federal and state laws pertaining to enrollment, student records, and institutional compliance.
- Demonstrated extensive experience with applying technology to existing and emerging applications and innovative approaches to student information systems (SIS), registration processes, customer relation management (CRM) systems and other related functions.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a demonstrated ability to work with a variety of internal and external constituencies.
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Extensive experience with Microsoft Office 365
- Experience with PowerCAMPUS student information system
- Familiarity with Slate CRM and Acalog
- Knowledge of Canvas
Physical Functions
While performing the responsibilities of the Registrar, the employee is required to sit for varying lengths of time; occasionally stand, walk, and kneel and regularly ascend/descend stairs; use hands and fingers to handle or feel and manipulate keys on a keyboard; perform extended periods of work at a computer workstation, view a computer monitor; perceive sounds at normal speaking levels with or without correction, and receive detailed information through oral communication; express and exchange ideas by means of spoken word; and work in an office setting.
