Foot Messenger -Cornucopia, Manhattan, NY

Cornucopia Logistics is seeking Delivery Team Members to be the driving force delivery business. As a Delivery Foot Courier, the primary responsibility of a Delivery Foot Courier will be delivering customers packages  by foot in certain areas of New York. This is a physical, fast-paced, outdoor position that involves continual lifting, lowering, carrying and pushing groceries packages.

No previous experience needed, just bring your positive attitude and we’ll provide the training!

Salary:$16.50 per hour

Employees are eligible to a free pair of work shoes or sneakers once a year through a Zappo Shoe Program !

Ideal:

Ability to navigate a route successfully & independently

Knowledge of scanning is preferred

Knowledge of NYC Streets preferred

Qualifications and Skills:

• Must be willing to work in any weather condition (heat, rain, snow, etc.)
• Must be able to work 1 weekend day
• Must be able to lift/carry/handle/transport up to 50 lbs. (unassisted)
• Must be able to push up to 200 lbs. on a hand truck
• Prior customer service and delivery experience desired
• Comfort /familiarity with basic smartphone operations
• Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively read in English
• Must have updated active smartphone with internet service and In Good Condition (i.e. No Cracked Screens) Ability to utilize smartphones for two-way communication with our Operations Team  
• Must embody and demonstrate company values and culture
