SUMMARY: The Education Operations and Technology Coordinator will work closely with the Director of Continuing Education, CE Office Manager, and key university personnel to support the planning, development, implementation, and technical coordination of Logan University’s Continuing Education (CE) program. This role requires a strong focus on technology integration, administrative support, and customer service to ensure the efficient operation of the Continuing Education Office.
PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist in the development, implementation, and evaluation of CE programming.
- Administer the Student Management System (SMS) for CE students and presenters.
- Manage continuing education billing processes in collaboration with the university business office, including payment processing, invoicing, and issuing refunds.
- Lead efforts to digitize CE Office operations by developing policies and procedures for filing and maintaining student records and other essential documentation.
- Support the planning and successful execution of Alumni and Friends House activities and events (e.g., guest lectures, alumni visits, programs, seminars, and symposiums).
- Contribute to CE event planning, setup, and on-site activities to enhance customer service and improve Logan University’s presence in the CE marketplace.
- Lead the CE team in the creation of fillable PDF forms, online registration systems, payment portals, and a new student management system.
- Build and maintain relationships with vendors and sponsors to support CE seminars, trainings, and symposiums.
- Collaborate with the Office Manager to maintain accurate student records for all CE training opportunities hosted by Logan University and sponsored organizations.
- Provide administrative support such as managing correspondence, redirecting calls, and scheduling meetings.
- Monitor office and event supply inventory and place orders as needed.
- Maintain student and course files and records in the Student Management System, and communicating with participants concerning events and learning experiences
- Manage and oversee both webinar and in-person CE events, including:
- Hiring and supervising student workers
- Coordinating instructor materials and distributing them to students
- Communicating with participants before events, providing necessary information and resources
- Reserving classroom space through the university reservation system and ensuring appropriate accommodation is arranged
- Processing expenses and honorariums following each seminar
- Purchasing supplies and refreshments for seminars
- Managing participant paperwork and issuing attendance verifications
- Initiating and managing instructor agreements
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
