Position Summary:

We are seeking a proactive and strategic HR Business Partner to support key business functions. This role combines core HR operational responsibilities with consultative business partner duties—helping leaders build high-performing teams, guiding workforce planning, providing compensation insights, and supporting a positive employee experience throughout the employee lifecycle.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Partner with business leaders to develop and implement HR strategies aligned with organizational goals, including workforce planning, organizational design, and succession planning.
  • Serve as the primary HR advisor for the R&D and Operations teams, providing strategic counsel and day-to-day support.
  • Coach managers through employee relations matters, performance issues, and conflict resolution with a balanced, solutions-focused approach.
  • Collaborate with leaders on initiatives that improve employee engagement, retention, and team culture.
  • Support core HR operations by maintaining and updating employee records and ensuring HRIS data integrity.
  • Design, coordinate, and facilitate employee training and development programs to support skill growth, compliance, and career advancement.
  • Support all aspects of the performance management cycle, including goal setting, feedback processes, and annual reviews.
  • Conduct compensation benchmarking and analysis to ensure internal equity and market competitiveness.
  • Partner with Finance and department heads to support salary planning, merit reviews, and promotion processes.
  • Leverage HRIS data and dashboards to identify trends and provide actionable insights to business leaders.
  • Coordinate and execute company-wide events, including employee engagement and recognition programs.
  • Develop, implement, and communicate HR policies and procedures in accordance with business needs and compliance standards.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and internal policies.
  • Support HR projects and cross-functional initiatives as needed.
  • Other duties as needed or required.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements & Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required; HR certification (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP) preferred.
  • 7+ years of progressive HR experience, including experience supporting business functions such as R&D, Engineering, or Operations.
  • Proven track record in employee relations, compensation analysis, and performance management.
  • Strong working knowledge of employment laws and HR compliance requirements.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence, coach, and build credibility across all levels.
  • High level of discretion and professionalism in handling confidential information.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Proficiency in HRIS platforms and Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Paycom is a plus.
