How You Will Make an Impact

The L4L Expanded Learning Opportunity (LELO) Technician supports education and administration staff in creating and maintaining files for student work. This position will organize, retrieve, and review documents for accuracy, and report findings to management. This position will perform functions of data input, correspondence, and communication, and maintain a student tracking spreadsheet. This position reports to the Principal or Designee.

Admission Team:

  • Oversee registration process and application completion.
  • Prepare, send, and obtain enrollment documents via electronic signature (DocuSign, Adobe).
  • Review and verify accuracy for completed enrollment forms.
  • Create students’ folders.
  • Enroll students’ and assign supervising teachers,
  • Assign students’ courses.
  • Send and Collect Student Learning Logs.
  • Maintain Pre-Enrollment Master List.

Compliance Team:

  • Organize students’ folders by teacher.
  • Check Student Learning Logs for accuracy and verify student daily attendance.
  • Communicate daily with Management and other team members.
  • Print and organize transcript for school delivery.
  • Print and review compliance documents for accuracy.
  • Attend teacher close out appointments to collect Supervising Teacher and Highly Qualified Teacher signatures. 
  • Perform administrative duties, responsibilities, and activities as assigned. These may be changed or modified from time to time.

Qualifications

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:

  • Ability to perform data entry and maintain records correctly. 
  • Ability to read, understand information and carry out oral and written directions. 
  • Ability to meet schedules and timelines.
  • Ability to work in team environments and with multiple levels of personnel.
  • Ability to establish and maintain positive and productive working relationships with employees, management, clients, and vendors.
  • Ability to arrange things or actions in a certain order or pattern according to a specific rule or set of rules.
  • Ability to work in a high-volume and demanding environment.
  • Ability to establish and maintain positive and productive working relationships.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma or General Education Diploma required.
  • 1-2 years clerical and administrative experience in a fast-paced office setting. 
  • Proficient skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and sending and receiving emails in web-based applications.
  • Ability to travel in performance of job duties required.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull objects weighing up to 25 pounds.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Mental Demands: high workflow management, high project coordination, and high people engagement.
  • Finger Dexterity: primarily using the fingers to make small movements such as typing, picking up small objects, or pinching fingers together.
  • Talking: especially where one must convey detailed or important instructions or ideas accurately, loudly, or quickly.
  • Average Hearing: hearing average or typical conversations and receiving ordinary information.
  • Average Visual Abilities: normal acuity necessary to prepare or inspect documents and operate office equipment.
  • Frequent multi-tasking, changing of task priorities, repetitious exacting work required.
  • Prolonged period sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Working in a low to moderate noise environment with frequent deadline pressures.
