Job Title: HR Generalist
Job Summary:
The HR Generalist will foster a healthy workplace by ensuring HR and safety procedures run smoothly at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
- Employee orientation and onboardingÂ
- Preparing and reviewing compensation and benefits packagesÂ
- Maintain employee files Â
- Managing Unemployment issuesÂ
- Manage, create, and update all spreadsheetsÂ
- Process payroll, separations, and employee loan agreementsÂ
- Manage annual employee review processÂ
- Recruiting of new potential employeesÂ
- Create monthly newsletter Â
- Benefit administration and invoicingÂ
- Develop reports and assist with auditsÂ
- Manage Fleet, COI’s, and company gas cardsÂ
- Government and private agency correspondence Â
- Employment verificationsÂ
- Multiple Work Site ReportÂ
- Backup for workman’s compensation, auto, and general liability claimsÂ
- Protecting company values by keeping financial information and plans confidentialÂ
- Responsible for following and enforcing all safety rules and policies as outlined by and communicated by Bliffert Lumber managementÂ
- Act as our store’s representative and provides exceptional customer serviceÂ
- Reports injuries immediately to ManagerÂ
- Additional job responsibilities to be determined by ManagerÂ

Qualifications:
- Reports to the HR DirectorÂ
- Occasional out of state travelÂ
- Minimal lifting up to 25 lbs.
