Description

As the Assistant Director of Crisis Residence, you will be responsible for providing support and direction to staff and oversee the day to day operations on site. This position is responsible for monitoring and coordinating intakes to the Crisis Residences. You will manage day-to-day operational needs as oversite to the programs. You will report to the Executive Program Director and will work on-site.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and monitor the referrals for the Crisis Residences and determine eligibility promptly. Coordinate intake appointments for new youth coming into the programs.
  • Participate in debriefs for critical incidents. Participate in clinical projects to increase the quality of care.
  • Assist Residential Supervisors with creating team-building opportunities and develop staff to provide a cohesive direct care team atmosphere. Supervise a team of Residential Supervisors.
  • Facilitate regular supervision to mentor and coach the Residential Supervisors who mentor, develop, train, and manage direct care staff. Help review and revise the orientation of staff to meet the overall objectives of the programs.
  • Oversee and assist with necessary Quality Management investigations.
  • Complete Admission and Continued Stay Utilization Reviews.
  • On Call coverage of Crisis Residences.
  • Act as a liaison to community partners to support program service and to the community partners making referrals to the programs.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements and Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree required from a four-year college or university.
  • 3 – 4 years of related experience.
