Mail Courier

As a Mail Courier, you will provide efficient and timely mail services throughout local Agency offices, including pick up and delivery of interoffice mail and daily posting of US Mail. You will maintain a high standard relating to the Agency Mission of protecting children, preserving families and strengthening communities .You will report to the Transportation Coordinator and will work onsite.

Responsibilities:

  • Retrieve interoffice mail at Agency office sites.
  • Retrieve outgoing US Mail at Agency office sites.
  • Sorts interoffice mail; transports and delivers to appropriate location.
  • Transport US Mail to Administrative Office for postage.
  • Transport US Mail to Post Office.
  • Maintain flow of daily schedule to meet all responsibilities.
  • Perform other job related duties as assigned.

Requirements and Education:

  • A High School Diploma or GED.
  • At least six months of experience.
  • Must have a valid NYS Drivers License.
  • Must be able to lift 70 pounds.
