Developmental Pathways (DP) has an opportunity for a Project Manager in our Information Technology (IT) Department. This is a 40-hour week hybrid position, working primarily remotely and coming into our office in Aurora, CO, as needed. A Colorado residency is required for this opportunity.
 
Our Project Manager will get to:
  • Manage and oversee IT projects while providing leadership and supervision to the project management team
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and vendors to deliver high-quality solutions that align with the organization's strategic goals
  • Serve as a liaison between the business users (stakeholders), external partners, and IT to provide technical and business process solutions that meet user needs
  • Lead and supervise the project management team, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to ensure team success
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performing work environment within the team by establishing clear goals, objectives, and initiatives, and actively monitoring and tracking progress toward their completion
 
To be successful in this role you will need:
  • Advanced knowledge in data analysis, leverage insights to drive key business recommendations
  • Strong leadership, communication, mentorship, and problem-solving skills, along with a proven track record of successfully managing and delivering IT projects

Requirements
 
  • Bachelor’s degree in a computer-related or business studies field and five (5) years of related experience,
    • OR Associates degree and five (5) to seven (7) years of related work experience,
    • OR eight (8) years of related work experience
  • At least two (2) years in a supervisory or leadership role
  • Proven analytical & technical background experience
  • Proficiency in SQL query execution for data analysis purposes
  • Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering complex IT projects on time and within budget
  • Understanding of Entity Relationship Diagrams (ERD), data modeling, and data flow diagrams
  • Experience in utilizing the Project Management Institute’s framework (PMBOK)
  • Personal vehicle in good operating condition for use during work as appropriate
  • Valid Colorado motor vehicle license and proof of motor vehicle insurance
  • Ability to meet our driving requirements - no suspensions/ no more than two tickets in the past three years
 
Upon request, qualifying need, and approval, driving requirements may be waived in lieu of reliable transportation.
 
 
Preferred
 
  • Professional certification (PMP, ITIL)
  • Demonstrated prior experience in project management while leading a team
  • Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies such as Smartsheet, Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall

Additional Responsibilities
 
  • Assume leadership responsibilities for the planning, execution, and successful completion of companywide projects, driving team collaboration, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives, and overseeing the project team to complete deliverables on time
  • Delegate project tasks to project management team as appropriate, ensuring clear direction and connection of task to the end goal
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, timeline, and resource allocation, in collaboration with stakeholders
  • Collaborate with IT teams, vendors, and business stakeholders to ensure project requirements are clearly defined and aligned with business objectives.
  • Communicate effectively with non-technical teams to drive IT strategy and achieve organizational objectives
  • Utilize approved software tools to create, update, and maintain all project documentation, ensuring accuracy, accessibility, and compliance with organizational standards
  • Implement project management best practices and standards to maintain high-quality project deliverables
  • Create detailed business analysis and flowcharts where needed: outlining problems, opportunities, and solutions for business
  • Support end-user needs and respond to requests in a timely manner
  • Responsible for defining and developing user stories/use cases/acceptance criteria
  • Develop and oversee user acceptance testing (UAT)
  • Facilitate change management for IT solutions & manage related projects
  • Review/create/manage RFPs to procure new hardware and software systems
