Position Summary: The Director of Recruitment is responsible for developing and implementing strategic initiatives for recruiting diverse talent for the five charter schools and central office that are a part of Belmont Charter Network. This position will lead the recruitment function, driving the company’s efforts to attract top talent across all levels of the organization. The Director of Recruitment will work closely with senior leadership to create and implement recruiting strategies that are aligned with the company’s goals and objectives. This is a 12 month position that is supervised by the Managing Director, Human Relations.
Core Responsibilities:
Recruitment Strategy Development:

Collaborate closely with school and network leaders to understand staffing needs and align recruitment strategies with network goals.

Develop innovative recruitment campaigns and strategies to attract mission and values-aligned high-quality teachers, administrators, and support staff.

Utilize diverse recruitment channels, including job boards, social media, networking events, and educational partnerships.

Manage, create, and improve recruitment processes and procedures including the employee referral process.

Track recruitment data, metrics, and KPIs; reflect on data sources to inform recruitment strategy
Strategic Planning:

Develop and implement comprehensive recruitment & retention strategies to meet the organization’s staffing needs.

Collaborate with senior management to forecast hiring needs and plan recruitment strategies accordingly.

Analyze workforce trends and make data-driven decisions to improve the recruitment process.
Talent Acquisition:

Oversee the full-cycle recruitment process, including job postings, sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding.

Utilize various recruitment channels and innovative sourcing techniques to attract top talent.

Manage relationships with external recruitment agencies and vendors.
Reporting and Analytics:

Track and analyze recruitment metrics to measure the effectiveness of recruitment strategies.

Prepare regular reports for senior management on recruitment activities and outcomes.

Use data analytics to identify trends and make recommendations for process improvements.
Compliance:

Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and best practices in recruitment.

Implement and manage recruitment policies and procedures.
Team Supervision and Performance Management:

Provide guidance and oversight of the Recruitment team, ensuring effective execution of recruitment strategies.

Annual performance evaluation management

Collaborate with the Recruitment team to assign tasks, set goals, and monitor progress.

Mentor and support the Recruitment team in cultivating candidate relationships and managing partnerships.
Additional responsibilities:

Collaborate with Human Resources department on various recruitment and retention initiatives including orientation and onboarding
