Description

Position Summary:

This position is responsible for supporting Bio-Techne's antibody product line. You will follow standard operating procedures to manufacture these products and will contribute to the ongoing development of new and existing products to help advance Bio-Techne's evolving portfolio. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Purify monoclonal and polyclonal antibodies following appropriate SOP’s
  • Document the purification processes in the appropriate computer systems
  • Prepare buffers as needed for the purification process
  • Carry out troubleshooting activities under supervision
  • Collaborate with other departments/labs as needed
  • Follow guidelines and comply with all company safety, quality, and training procedures and regulations
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

Education and Experience:

  • Associate degree and 3-5 years of relevant experience
  • Or, Bachelor’s degree in a related field and up to 3 years of relevant experience

 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel is required
  • Knowledge of basic lab equipment
  • Knowledge of standard laboratory techniques including column chromatography
  • Must be able to work in a fast-faced environment where multitasking is required
  • Must have good verbal and written communication skills
  • Must have strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to pay attention to details and work independently
  • Must work well both independently and in a team environment
