Who You Are & What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or related field.
- 5-10 years of experience in conferences and events management, preferably in a matrix organization.
- Experience in medical devices, healthcare, or pharmaceuticals preferred.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver results on time and within budget in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in interacting with physicians, industry personnel and researchers in face-to-face, telephone, and electronic communications.
- Experience with and enforce all client Business Conduct standards and regulations on HCP programs and ensure all programs follow AdvaMed, Sunshine reporting, state laws, and association guidelines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, building relationships and collaborating effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Negotiation skills and experience in vendor management, contract negotiation, and budget management.
- A detail-oriented mindset focuses on delivering high-quality events that align with organizational objectives.
- Proficiency in event management software and tools like Smartsheet, Cvent, Eventbrite, or similar platforms.
- Creative problem-solving abilities and adapting to changing priorities and requirements in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to travel and work evenings and weekends as required for event execution.
- Professional certifications in event management or related fields are a plus.
Travel
Must be able to travel up to 25% of the time. Travel, as reasonably requested, to meet with and educate customers and salespeople, attend and coordinate trade show presence for associated products, attend training programs, coordinate customer meetings, and other related travel as determined by the company.
