  • Civic- You are passionate and experienced in the design and documentation of fire/police stations, municipal offices, recreation/community centers, libraries, or maintenance/ transportation facilities.

 

 

Position Summary: Architect 2 applies sound and diverse knowledge of architecture principles and practices in a broad array of assignments and practice areas. Implements the use of advanced techniques and has responsibility for finished plans, specifications, and material approval. Architect 2 acts independently regarding architectural methods but may receive supervision and guidance concerning overall objectives, critical issues, new concepts, and policy matters. The Architect 2 may supervise a small staff of more junior Architects, Architectural Interns, interior designers, and technicians. Architect 2 is a registered Architect or an unlicensed architectural staff level 2 personnel per the AIA.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors of Architecture (5-year professional degree preferred),
  • Master of Architecture or equivalent degree from an accredited program.
  • Licensed Architect preferred with six (6) or more years of architectural experience.
  • Proficient with Revit modeling.
  • Knowledgeable of graphic programs (such as Adobe Acrobat, Sketch-up, InDesign, and Photoshop), and has proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Project.
  • The Architect 2 has acquired the knowledge, experience and skills of the Architect 1.
