(ATI) is a service-oriented export trading company providing domestic and international companies the opportunity to import and export products to new and existing markets.  ATI exports USA food and beverages to over 80 markets worldwide.

 

We are looking for an Associate Regional Sales Director who will be responsible for interfacing with all management levels for in-market executions, negotiations, and debt recovery. This role will lead the regional sales team, overseeing forecasting, performance reviews, and supply chain challenges. The Associate Regional Sales Director will utilize data sources for strategic insights, foster an innovative culture, and manage ATI marketing fund/MAP funds, collaborating on marketing and sales strategies, driving new business development and meet profit margin goals, and lead impactful company scaling projects.

 

What you’ll do:

  • Interfacing with all levels of management for in-market executions, forecasting and budgeting.  
  • Negotiates with customers on the prices and portfolio.    
  • Responsible for internal escalation to upper management and responsible for communication with customers to resolve claim. 
  • Responsible for debt recovery and provide support to AE/AM/IAM/AD when payments are delayed.   
  • Responsible for reporting sales and marketing plans to suppliers, customers, and internal stakeholders.
  • Responsible for communication with strategic manufacturer and participation in bi-weekly/monthly/quarterly meetings/reviews. 
  • Managing regional sales team along with Director. Responsible for quarterly performance reviews.
  • Review forecasting and brand/product performance analysis with the sales team and compare to demand plan to identify supply chain challenges that can affect the forecast.  Review recommendations to increase business and provide strategic insights to upper management/leadership team.  
  • Review insights from sales team acquired through multiple data sources such as Essbase, EPOS, Market reports (AC Nielson, ROI), Customer data, and give direction to the sales team.  Report back any significant updates/opportunities to upper management/leadership team.   
  • Support the sales team in improving brand availability and channels of distribution.
  • Ensure order fulfillment rate is 100% by the supply chain team.  Coordinate improvement initiatives with other department heads.  Escalate any remaining issues to upper management/leadership team. 
  • Leading by example in creating an innovative culture.
  • Review sales forecast with the sales team to ensure team is on-track to hit sales targets.   Strategizes with sales team to provide direction on new initiatives and solutions for recouping business where at risk to not hit targets.
  • Responsible for managing and approving ATI marketing fund / MAP funds for assigned region. Ensure maximum ROI from fund allocation.
  • Work collectively with ISAM/sales heads in developing marketing/sales strategy for trade events.
  • Delegate tasks/projects to Account Executives/Account Managers/IAM/ISAM
  • Responsible for collecting and managing forecasts for region from the team and communicating any changes to other departments and upper management/leadership team.
  • Provide direction to sales team on product range expansion. 
  • Increase customer database, focus on new business development. 
  • Support sales team and upper management to implement new strategies.
  • Propose and execute market visits.
  • Responsible for meeting ATI profit margin goals.
  • Suggest, plan and execute trade shows, trade missions and other events (internal/external).
  • Lead and suggest company scaling projects.

Qualifications

What you’ll bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field. 
  • 8 years of experience in business process management, with a focus on sales leadership and strategic planning. 
  • Proficient in utilizing data sources such as Essbase, EPOS, and market reports for decision-making. 
  • Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills, with a proven track record of meeting profit margin goals. 
  • Experience in managing marketing funds and collaborating on marketing and sales strategies. 
  • Willingness to attend trade shows, trade missions, and other events.
  • A positive attitude and a proactive approach to work are essential.
  • Proficient in MS office applications to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint.
  • Fluent in other languages a plus.

 

What you’ll be paid:
Commensurate with experience, you will be paid $115,000 – $161,000 annually.
