Required Education
- Degree or previous experience in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
Required Experience
- Proven experience in coding and software development (2+ years).
Required Licenses and Certifications
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Strong understanding of ICD-10-CM codes, Category II codes, COA measures, CMS documentation requirements, state and federal regulations including compliance and reimbursement and the impact of diagnosis coding on risk adjustment payment models.
- Expert knowledge of Risk Adjustment/HCC Model.
- Excellent presentation, collaboration, and analytical skills and must be able to follow procedures.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Exceptional research, planning and problem-solving, critical thinking.
Preferred Qualifications
- College or Associate degree in a related field preferred.
- Certified Professional Coder (CPC) and Certified Risk Adjustment Coder (CRC) preferred.

Physical Demands
