Required Education
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Knowledge as a Wellness/Activities Coordinator, Educator, Fitness Instructor.
Required Experience
- Formal activity program: 1 year.
Required Licenses and Certifications
- Silver Sneakers certification or obtain within 6 months of employment.
- CPR (BLS); First Aid.
- Certification Exercise and Physical Activities for older adults.
- Certification Senior Fitness Instructor.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Excellent customer service, interpersonal, organizational, and multi-tasking skills.
- Leadership and public speaking skills. Professional appearance.
- Able to respect and always maintain patient confidentiality.
- Sensitivity to the needs of an aging population.
- Good writing, verbal, and communication skills.
- Must be able to follow company policies and procedures.
- People-oriented - enjoys interacting with people and working on group activities.
- Ability to motivate patients.
- Develop and deliver an exercise routine tailored to patient needs and capabilities.
- Advance computer knowledge.

- Working with seniors: 1 year preferred.

Physical Demands
