Supervisory Responsibilities

Required Education
Associate or bachelor’s degree or 6-8 years equivalent experience in a health care setting performing risk management duties.
Required Experience
Minimum of ten (10) years of prior relevant experience working in a health care setting performing risk management duties.
Required Licenses and Certifications
Related professional certification such as CISA, CISSP, CIA, CRM, CHRM or equivalent or willing to obtain within 6 months of hire.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Ability to communicate issues to non-technical stakeholders.
- Capability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Capacity to break down a issues into components using problem-solving techniques
- Communicate data to analytical team for analysis, issues and control recommendations.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills that deliver quality, actionable, and impactful feedback to management on potential control issues and solutions to close gaps.
- Significant experience reporting to the C-suite.
- Ability to evaluate and determine the adequacy of controls.
- Enthusiastic and self-motivated, with a keen interest in learning; effective under pressure and willing to take personal responsibility/accountability.
- Unquestionable and impeccable ethics and integrity.
- Ability to influence and communicate effectively across all levels and teams to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
- Judgment in distinguishing issues requiring communication to executive management, the Risk Committee, and the Corporate Compliance Committee from issues needing to be mitigated.
- Able to work in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment and motivated to take the initiative to understand the business and processes.
