The Business Analyst is in charge of the generation, consolidation and analysis of the reports to know the performance of the Virtual Medical Center. Analytical skills are essential to the success of this position. The main focus of the Business Analyst is to support the team under the Virtual Medical Center operation, to provide data and information timely and consistently real time.

  1. Perform data processing and feature creation to prepare for each analytics task.
  2. Perform exploratory data analysis and visualization to get a better appreciation of the data.
  3. Conducts high complexity analysis for a particular business unit/function.
  4. Provide assistance in the design and delivery of automated, scalable analytical models to stakeholders.
  5. Perform root cause analysis to ensure a quality KPI results.
  6. Develop predictive models, customer segmentation, data analyses, data collection systems and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality.
  7. Serve as bridge between the Technical Manager and End users to plan and execute User Data Experience.
  8. Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintaining databases.
  9. Prepare reports and presentations to share insights and findings.
  10. Update the KPIs values periodically and create reports based on the analysis of these results.
  11. Design and analyze all required metrics and how the clinical and non-clinical staff to improve patient experience satisfaction affects those KPIs.
  12. Create strategies to improve KPIs and Scorecards for the business units.
  13. Perform other duties as assigned.

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to work standing up, walk, use hands to operate tools and equipment and must be able to exert regularly up to 10 pounds of force, frequently exert 30 pounds of force and occasionally exert 50 pounds of force to constantly perform the essential job functions. The employee will be frequently required to reach with hands and arms, bend, balance, kneel, crouch, crawl, push, and pull. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. The employee is subject to environmental conditions; protection from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature changes. The worker is subject to noise; there may be sufficient noise to cause the worker to shout in order to be heard above ambient noise level.

Qualifications

  1. Preferred Education: Bachelors in Mathematics, Industrial Engineer, Computer Science, Information management or Statistics
  2. Minimum Required Experience: 2 years in relevant or any other job-related vocational coursework
  3. Proven analytical skills, including the understanding of general statistics/accounting principles
  4. Adept knowledge of MS Excel and Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Visio)
  5. Experience with data visualization and executive presentations
  6. Excellent communication skills
  7. Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze and disseminate, significant amounts of information in attention to details and accuracy
  8. Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish
  9. Bonus: Strong knowledge and experience with reporting packages (business objects, others), Power BI, Tableau, QlikSense, QuickSight, data bases (SQL, BI) Programing (XML, Javascript, or ETL frameworks).
