Key Highlights of the Product Manger Role include:

  • Develops a framework for identifying and reviewing new and existing products/services within assigned product lines. 
  • Creates and maintains product performance plans, including product roadmaps, product guides, and performance reporting.
  • Collaborates to review member experience and journey to ensure all aspects of the process help to achieve product performance expectations for service, growth, risk, etc..
  • Collaborates with Marketing and Organizational Development to develop marketing plans and engagement strategies in line with product objectives and ensures that staff are fluent with product and product changes.
  • Participates in the scoping and prioritization of enhancements and collaborates with other departments for functional requirements.
  • Recommend areas for process and improvement and works with IT to ensure appropriate assessment and improvement.

 

  • Coordinates usability testing, reviews, and evaluations to identify and address issues to enhance end-user experience. 
  • Manage and evaluate external partner relationships to ensure relationships are meeting credit union goals and expectations.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education/certification and experience:

Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university with a minimum of eight years progressive product experience in the banking or complimentary industry.   Fluency with storytelling, reporting tools (including Microsoft Excel), and analytical tools.

Must be a team player with the ability to establish and maintain engaging working relationships with people of diverse backgrounds.

PHYSICAL AND MENTAL ACTIVITY REQUIREMENTS OF THIS POSITION

Finger Dexterity: Using primarily just the fingers to make small movements such as typing, picking up small objects, or pinching fingers together.

Talking: Especially where one must frequently convey detailed or important instructions or ideas accurately, loudly, or quickly.

Average Hearing: Able to hear average or normal conversations and receive ordinary information.

Repetitive Motion: Movements frequently and regularly required using the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.

Average Visual Abilities: Average, ordinary visual acuity necessary to prepare or inspect documents or products, or operate machinery.

Physical Strength: Sedentary work; sitting most of the time. Exerts up to 10 lbs. of force occasionally. (Almost all office jobs.)

Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply logical or scientific thinking to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw conclusions. Able to interpret a variety of technical instructions and can deal with multiple variables.

Mathematics Ability: Ability to perform basic math skills and interpret personal finance concepts utilizing ratios and percents.

Language Ability: Ability to read periodicals, journals, manuals, dictionaries, thesauruses, and encyclopedias. Ability to prepare business letters, proposals, summaries, and reports using prescribed format and conforming to all rules of punctuation, grammar, diction, and style. Ability to conduct training, communicate at panel discussions, and make professional presentations. sentences; using normal word order with present and past tenses; using a good vocabulary.

WORKING CONDITIONS
