Assistant Mens Lacrosse Coach

Methodist University, an NCAA Division III institution is accepting applications for an Assistant Men’s Lacrosse Coach.  This is a part time, temporary position for Academic Year 2024-2025.  There may be option of renewal for following academic year(s). This position will be responsible for coaching/player development, recruiting and retention of qualified students and student-athletes, academic monitoring, program administrative operations, scheduling, assist with practice and game organization and other duties as assigned within all University, NCAA, and USA South Conference rules, regulations, guidelines and philosophies. 

Bachelor’s Degree required; previous collegiate coaching and demonstrated experience in the recruitment and retention of student-athletes at the NCAA Division III level preferred.  Successful candidates will demonstrate the potential for collaborative leadership, a high degree of personal initiative, and a commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusiveness.  Candidates must have the ability to relate effectively to current and prospective student-athletes, exhibit strong time management and organizational skills, and demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as knowledge of NCAA and USA South Conference rules and regulations.
