Position Summary:

The Sales Supervisor leads the team in a high-end resort boutique, ensuring guests and members receive an exceptional shopping experience. This role focuses on luxury retail sales, clienteling, visual merchandising, and team development to drive revenue and uphold the boutique’s elevated brand standards.

 

Duties & Responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities/Essential Functions:

  • Lead and motivate the retail sales team to consistently achieve and exceed sales goals.
  • Deliver an exceptional client experience through personal styling, cross-selling, and building lasting customer relationships.
  • Recruit, interview, train, and mentor team members to uphold luxury retail service standards.
  • Oversee daily store operations including scheduling, floor coverage, and performance management.
  • Maintain and enhance visual merchandising standards that reflect seasonal collections and premium brand partners.
  • Manage receiving, stock organization, and monthly inventory to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Partner with management on sales forecasting, reporting, and profitability initiatives.
  • Respond to guest inquiries and resolve service issues with discretion and professionalism.
  • Act as a brand ambassador, ensuring the boutique reflects the resort’s elevated environment and clientele.

Qualifications

Qualifications (relevant experience, education and training):

  • 2+ years of retail supervisory experience in luxury, designer, or premium lifestyle brands.
  • Strong background in styling, personal shopping, and clienteling with affluent clientele.
  • Proven ability to coach and develop a sales team to meet and exceed goals.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Experience in visual merchandising and maintaining luxury brand standards.
  • Proficiency with POS systems and basic retail reporting.
  • Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays; ability to adapt to seasonal business needs.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor appropriate for a luxury resort environment.

 

Physical & Work Environment Requirements:

  • Ability to stand and move on the sales floor for extended periods.
  • Lift and move up to 25 lbs. as needed for merchandise and displays.
  • Work in a boutique setting within a resort property; occasional movement across property as needed.
