A Mechanical Technician is responsible for the coordination and execution of maintenance and repair tasks on customer well locations. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring the timely delivery of services and maintaining accurate inventory records.
Mechanical Technician Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect, troubleshoot and repair of electronic equipment; preventative maintenance
- Assemble, install or repair wiring, electrical and electronic components
- Use schematics to diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve electrical problems
- Coordinate and execute maintenance and repair of equipment on customer well locations.
- Perform thorough diagnostic tests and repairs on wellsite equipment including splicing and cutting heavy duty conveyor belt and related products.
- Perform repair on equipment with the following systems: mechanical, air systems, hydraulic, automation systems, and electrical up to 480V.
- Ensure timely delivery of services and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues with equipment.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks and inspections.
- Assist with rigging up and rigging down equipment as needed.
- Maintain a safe work environment and adhere to all safety protocols.
