A Field Operator is responsible for the coordination and execution of frac sand delivery and inventory on customer location.  This position opens the door to advancement within our organization. Successful Field Operators have the opportunity to progress to a Field Site Supervisor where you'll be the on-location team leader.

 

Schedule: 2 weeks on, 1 week off, 12-hour shifts. Rotating between day and night shifts.

 

Pay Rate: $85,000 to $125,000 per year.  Hourly pay and job performance bonuses.

 

Field Operator Key Responsibilities:

  • Rig up and Rig down Wellsite Equipment
  • Offload belly-dump sand trucks, coordinate with dispatch, the customer and other service providers.
  • Assemble, inspect, and troubleshoot field equipment; assist with on-location maintenance.
  • Manage and communicate sand inventory levels on the wellsite to ensure appropriate levels are maintained.

Physical Requirements:

  • Able to work under stressful, outdoor conditions at times including wet and/or humid conditions and extreme heat/cold.
  • Able to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
  • Able to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
  • Able to lift and/or move over 50 pounds on routine basis.
  • Work environment may include moving mechanical parts, fumes, toxic chemicals, airborne particles and moderate to loud noise, requiring consistent use of appropriate PPE.
  • Able to work rotational schedule and long hours.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Oil field experience preferred.
  • Strong and clear communication skills in English.
  • Basic understanding and troubleshooting of electric motors and generators.
  • Valid driver's license and clean MVR for the last 3 years.
  • Mechanically and technically inclined; able to use smartphone and software programs.
