We are looking for a passionate team member who can assist with accounting and finance tasks. This includes, but is not limited to, accounts payable preparations, revenue reconciliation, bank deposits, financial reporting, expense report management, bank reconciliations, annual financial audit preparations, tax reporting, and asset depreciation schedule management. This person would also assist the Vice President of Finance & Operations in annual budget preparations, annual audit execution, and miscellaneous ad hoc financial projects.
To work best with our highly-collaborative team, this person is required to work from our office in McKinney, Texas. This is a full-time (40 hour/week) position.
Eligibility Competencies:
· Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
· CPA Certification
· 3+ years of accounting experience including a wide range of accounting disciplines
· Excellent understanding of general accounting principals
· Ability to create financial reports and interpret these reports to management
· Well-organized and excellent attention to detail
· Ability to learn and work with new software quickly
· Excellent communication skills
· Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as part of a team
· Willing to approach tasks with a servant’s heart
