Job Description
We are seeking a Platform Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be instrumental in building and maintaining our CI/CD pipelines, supporting infrastructure and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) initiatives for our development teams, and creating integrations that provide crucial metrics on code quality, performance, reliability, and maintainability.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines
- Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions
- Build and manage integrations for development tools and metrics platforms
- Collaborate with development teams to improve code quality, performance, and reliability
- Implement and maintain monitoring and alerting systems
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our platform engineering practices
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in platform engineering or similar roles
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, TeamCity, Spinnaker)
- Proficiency in IaC tools (e.g., Terraform, Pulumi, CloudFormation)
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Solid understanding of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, Fargate)
- Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools (e.g., DataDog, NewRelic, OTel)
- Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
- Experience with version control systems (Git)
Preferred Skills
- Experience with microservices architecture and event based architecture.
- Knowledge of security best practices in cloud environments
- Familiarity with Agile and DevOps methodologies
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Professional), AWS Certified DevOps Engineer (Professional), or equivalent certificate from Azure/GCP
