Job Description
The Leader of Global Expansion role resides on the Executive Leadership Team (ELT) and is responsible for the strategy, subscriber growth & operational execution of RightNow Media’s global outreach to serve 7000 churches (and growing) outside of North America. This leader will work closely with key stakeholders (see list directly below) in RightNow Media’s McKinney headquarters and across the global regions to define and deliver on the key goals for the global expansion program. The leader will strike a strong balance between a passion for RightNow Media’s mission to serve the global church and an ability to help the global initiatives to reach a financially sustainable position in each of the operating regions. In other words this leader will have to be part spiritual leader who embodies the ministry of RightNow Media and part business leader who understands how to drive forward the business development in each region.

Regional Directors:

We currently have global operations in the following regions: Latin America, Asia Pacific (India & surrounding countries), Africa, United Kingdom, Australia/New Zealand, South Korea and the Middle East.

There are currently five regional directors that have responsibility for the locations outlined above and they are in most cases based in these regions with their teams that are working on these programs on behalf of RightNow Media.

Regional Directors have a contractual relationship with NG and are responsible for the strategy, subscriber growth and execution of the plan for their specific region. The directors are accountable for their plan to the Managing Director of NG. They also work closely with the Leader of Global Expansion.

The Regional Directors hire and manage the staff within their region.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Work with the stakeholders in the ecosystem outlined above to define and clarify the global strategy and establish clear growth metrics and operational plans for each region that supports this strategy.

Take the lead on setting sales and operating plans for the global regions each year. The Leader of Global Expansion will work with leaders across the ecosystem above to set these plans and ensure that the operating assumptions have been well vetted.

Work with the RightNow Media content team to help strategize and coordinate the international content production efforts.

Meet regularly with the regional directors to review progress with their initiatives and provide guidance where needed. Ensure that regional programs are on track as measured by the Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) documented in the Statements of Work for the annual plans

Work with Jay Clark and the RNM leadership to evaluate new expansion opportunities in global regions using a structured vetting and decision-making process.

Visit regional offices as needed to strengthen our relationships with global personnel, review progress, and identify steps that we can take to support these programs.

Communicate the global strategy and progress against the global expansion program with the RightNow Media Executive Leadership team, Board members, and personnel across the company where needed.

Meet weekly with the Managing Director of NG to address pertinent topics related to the program such as new partnering opportunities, recent operating results, issues that need management attention, and other areas.
Skills and Educational Requirements:

B.A or B.S. degree

Experience in leading teams; preferably on a global scale

Strong operational background with emphasis on Sales and/or Customer Success

Proven track record of working across cultures

Strong analytical skills including the ability to get into operational details when necessary

Ability to navigate a complex ecosystem to solve problems and and collaborate on programs related to RightNow Media’s global efforts

Strong communication skills including the ability to communicate to senior leaders & and to individual contributors at more detailed level when necessary

Experience in working with churches and other ministry organizations
Working Conditions: This is a full-time position that requires you to work normal US business hours, Monday through Friday. You will also be required to frequently adjust your schedule to accommodate video conference meetings with regions outside of US time zones. This position will require a moderate level of travel, both domestic and international. This position is based in the RightNow Media US office in McKinney, TX.
