SUMMARY:
Guided by the school’s Mission and vision, the Human Resources Manager is responsible for managing the HR department and leading the development and implementation of HR policies, programs, and practices that support the organization's goals and objectives. The HR Manager will collaborate with senior management to ensure that the HR department's activities are aligned with the organization's overall strategy.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
● Develop and implement HR policies and procedures that support the organization's objectives and comply with relevant laws and regulations.
● Provide guidance and support to senior management and employees on HR-related matters, including performance management, employee relations, compensation and benefits, and talent acquisition.
● Manage the recruitment and selection process, working with department managers to ensure that job descriptions are accurate, job postings are effective, and candidates are evaluated objectively.
● Develop and deliver HR-related training programs, including assisting with orientation sessions for new employees, as well as training on HR policies and procedures for all employees.
● Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including personnel files, benefits records, and attendance records.
● Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations, including equal employment opportunity, affirmative action, and labor laws.
● Oversee the administration of employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other benefits.
● Collaborate with the HR Generalist, providing guidance, support, and feedback, and ensuring that HR department activities are coordinated and effective.
