Job Summary: The primary role of a Sprinkler Service Helper is to assist in the inspection, service and repair of fire sprinkler systems. Providing support to Fire Sprinkler Technicians, a Fire Sprinkler Helper is a key component in the completion and timeliness of each job.

 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Assist Fire Sprinkler Technicians with inspection, service and troubleshooting of automatic fire sprinkler systems along with all its related equipment.
  • Under the direction of a Lead Technician or supervisor, the Sprinkler Helper will participate in site clean-up, unloading materials, staging materials, and distributing materials. 
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

 

 

Qualifications

What we are looking for: 

  • High School Diploma/ GED
  • No prior fire protection experience required, just a demonstrated ability and desire to learn and help
  • Drug testing/Background check required
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Display professional appearance.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Strong Communication Skills
  • Basic understanding of hand tools and power tools.
  • Basic understanding of technology, including but not limited to iPhone, iPad, and computers.

 

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Comfortable working in various environments, including industrial facilities, commercial buildings, and outdoor settings.
  • Capable of standing, walking, bending, and kneeling for extended periods.
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces as needed.
