Job Summary:  The Sr Data Analyst supports Hiller’s evolution towards digitization and data driven culture. In this role you will be the data workstream lead on the Data & Analytics (D&A) team responsible for implementing the data & analytics vision. This workstream is critical in creating, governing, and enhancing dozens of data assets that drive thousands of downstream decisions at Hiller, including modernizing and maintaining our data governance program. 

 

This position will ideally be located in Phoenix, AZ area, with hybrid work scheduling.  We will consider other remote candidates, who are able to work hybrid in another Hiller office location.

 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Support the creation and enhancements of all needed Master Data Assets
  • Lead the implementation of Hiller’s Data Governance Program
  • Conduct continuous improvement of Master Data Asset backend queries and data pipelines
  • Lead Data Clean Up Exercises and Historical Restatements of Master Data Assets

 

 

Qualifications

What We Are Looking For:  

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science, data science, statistics, or a related field 
  • 6+ years of experience with hand on data exploration, data cleaning, data analysis, and data mining  
  • 6+ years experience in data governance
  • 6+ years of experience analyzing structured and unstructured data sources  
  • 3+ years of experience with statistical and general-purpose programming languages for data analysis practices  
  • Experience developing predictive data models, quantitative analyses and visualization of targeted data sources  
  • Experience leading projects and deliverables 
  • Experience in presenting to leadership to get guidance and propose business cases  
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas in a clear and concise manner
  • Experience leading the development of solutions to complex programs  
  • Experienced with the following programming languages: Python, R, SQL, DAX, Python and relevant libraries like Pandas, PyTorch, Tensorflow, etc. 
  • Prefer candidates with experience in using data governance tools such as Talend or Informatica  
  • Data architecture expertise for CoPilot deployments preferred
  • Working with APIs and Data engineering concepts a plus
  • Prefer candidates with the demonstrated ability to design, develop, and deploy advanced analytics solutions and end-to-end data-driven solutions in the construction industry.
