What We Are Looking For:
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent is Required.
- Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record is preferred.
- Current, or able to qualify for non-CDL DOT endorsement is preferred.
- Valid Forklift certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire
- Minimum 1 year of Warehouse experience is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of fire sprinklers, plumbing, pipefitting, or construction is advantageous.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products.
- Ability to interact and communicate in a professional manner with team members, customers, vendors, etc.
- Must be self-motivated and demonstrate the ability to contribute to team operations, performing all work in an efficient, organized manner.
- Cooperate with fellow team members to ensure seamless operations during absences.
- Good visual acuity and attention to detail to identify potential issues.
- Must be able to perform tasks that require manual dexterity, such as handling tools and equipment.
- Effectively manage multiple responsibilities and prioritize tasks according to organizational needs.
- Be a dependable team player, providing support to colleagues as required.
Physical Requirements:
- While performing the essential functions of this job the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands or arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, and is occasionally required to lift and/or move heavy objects.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Comfortable working in various environments, including industrial facilities, commercial buildings, and outdoor settings, which can potentially expose employees to noise, dust, heat stress, thermal stress, low light conditions, heights, etc.
- Capable of standing, walking, bending, and kneeling for extended periods.
- Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces as needed, which would require use of fall protection equipment and other safety devices
- Capable of using hand and power tools, including specialty tools resulting in cutting, grinding, drilling, fastening and other methods resulting in torque, vibration, noise, etc.
