Job Summary:  The Compensation Analyst is responsible for providing data-driven insights and analytical support to the Human Resources department and broader organization. Reporting to the Sr Manager, HR Corporate Functions, this individual will play a crucial role in leveraging data to inform HR strategies, improve processes, and support decision-making across various HR functions. 

 

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive compensation analysis, including: 
  • Performing regular market salary surveys and benchmarking studies 
  • Analyzing internal pay equity and recommending adjustments 
  • Developing and maintaining pay structures and job leveling frameworks 
  • Modeling the financial impact of proposed compensation changes 
  • Supporting the annual merit increase and bonus processes with data-driven recommendations 
  • Analyzing the effectiveness of various compensation programs (e.g., bonuses, equity, benefits) 
  • Providing insights on compensation trends and best practices 
  • Collaborate with HR business partners and other departments on compensation and HRIS processes.  
  • Manage and maintain the Human Resource Information System (HRIS), ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and security. 
  • Conduct regular attrition analysis to identify trends, patterns, and potential areas for improvement in employee retention. 
  • Develop and maintain HR reports, including but not limited to headcount, turnover, recruitment metrics, and employee demographics. 
  • Prepare and present data-driven insights for Board of Directors meetings, executive leadership, and other stakeholders, with a focus on compensation trends and other key HR metrics. 
  • Conduct ad hoc HR analysis as requested, providing insights on various HR initiatives and programs. 
  • Stay current with HR analytics best practices, tools, and technologies, particularly those related to compensation management. 
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and company policies in all analytical activities. 
  • Provide training and support to HR team members on using HRIS and interpreting HR data, especially in areas of compensation. 
  • Participate in HR projects, representing the analytical and reporting requirements for compensation and other HR functions. 
  • Other duties as required. 

 

 

 

Qualifications

What We Are Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field. 
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in HR, preferably with HRIS and/or compensation. 
  • Professional HR certifications such as SHRM-CP, PHR, or CCP are highly preferred. 
  • Proactive and self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. 
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in data management and analysis. 
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills, essential for supporting and engaging with a diverse team. 
  • Solid understanding of HR functions, metrics, and best practices, with deep knowledge of compensation and benefits. 
  • Flexibility and adaptability, ready to pivot to new projects and thrive in a fast-paced work environment. 
  • Strong understanding of financial and business acumen, enabling effective management and strategic planning within the HR domain. 
  • Flexibility and ability to pivot to new projects and desire to work in fast-paced environment. 
  • Ability to travel across the US
