Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or related engineering or anatomy discipline.
- Entry level, 0-2 years of clinical or medical device design experience.
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to visualize objects in 3D space.
- Proficient with 3D design (parametric or surface modeling) software.
- Solidworks 3D CAD and Materialise 3-matic preferred.
- Knowledge of basic engineering materials and manufacturing processes.
- Detail oriented and capable of handling multiple assignments at once.
- General knowledge of human anatomy and biomechanics.
- Materialise Mimics experience and familiarity with DICOM imaging and segmentation preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Effective communication and presentation skills with ability to convey information and respond to questions from peers and colleagues.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
