Education & Experience
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required
- Minimum of 3 years of operational purchasing or buyer experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience working with Engineering, Supply Chain, Sales and Operations.
- Experience effectively negotiating and influencing others
- Experience reading blueprints and understanding technical specifications.
- Working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems.
- Previous experience in an office and or warehouse support position
- Experience with ERP/MRP helpful, but not required
- Intermediate level MS Office - Excel, Word, Outlook
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Ability to work effectively from the shop floor to middle management
- Professional oral & written communication and presentation skills.
- Solid financial analysis skills
- Good proficiency in English both written and oral.
- High degree of attention to detail
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
- Strong analytic abilities; critical thinking skills
- Ability to multi-task, and meet deadlines
- Basic Math Skills: Addition, Subtraction, Multiplying, Dividing, Counting, Measuring
