Responsibilities:

Support the Executive Chef in overseeing daily kitchen operations, maintaining consistency and quality throughout prep and service

Supervise, train, and motivate back-of-house staff, upholding standards for food safety, cleanliness, and excellence

Collaborate on menu development, contributing creative ideas that reflect Trumbull Kitchen’s innovative culinary style

Ensure accurate inventory, manage ordering, and minimize food waste

Lead by example in maintaining a clean and organized kitchen

Communicate effectively with the front-of-house team to ensure smooth and timely service
-
Troubleshoot and resolve issues during service, always keeping the guest experience in mind
