POSITION SUMMARY
The Data Specialist is a member of the American Endowment Foundation’s (AEF) Information Technology team. Under the guidance of the Director, Enterprise Solutions, this position is responsible for executing data processing functions to ensure accuracy, consistency and alignment with AEF’s business requirements and IT strategy. Responsibilities include collecting, storing, converting, and analyzing electronic data and maintaining high quality data standards in a variety of systems that make up the AEF application stack. This individual will work collaboratively with AEF departments to ensure the availability of data and the performance of databases.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Executes data processing in AEF systems to ensure accuracy, consistency, and quality.
- Executes regular transactional processes necessary to maintain operations records and databases.
- Performs extracting, importing, and exporting of data in various database applications.
- Ensures compliance with Business and Data Governance rules.
- Performs data reconciliations to identify data anomalies.
- Assists in preparation of data reports, training materials, business presentations, publications, and other educational materials.
- Performs data quantitative and qualitative analysis.
- Creates standard reports for information reporting.
- Assists with other data related projects as assigned by the Director, Data & Integration.
