Summary:

As Camp Cho-Yeh is experiencing rapid growth and expansion, we are seeking a mission-minded, highly motivated sales professional who can effectively convey over the phone the advantages of our programs to boost registrations. This role is available to be fully remote and open to both seasoned sales professionals and those new to the field seeking to launch their sales career.

Essential Job Functions: 

  1. Administrative
    1. Work with the team to create a successful process to convert leads to registered campers.
    2. Manage lead workflow with CRM software (GoHighLevel, Asana, Trello, etc)
    3. Trained to use our registration software, CampMinder, to create short form registrations
    4. Keep lead information organized and up to date across all platforms
  2. Sales
    1. Call potential customers to engage with them about our program options.
    2. Follow up with leads consistently over a specified period of time.
    3. Assess interest and fit in our programs and offer appropriate options.
    4. Meet or exceed sales targets within the designated time frame.
    5. Build and nurture positive business and customer relationships.
  3. Basic Requirements
    1. Flexible 40 hour work week with calls made between 8am - 8pm, mainly M-F, some Saturdays.
    2. Quick to learn and understand the culture, programs and answer questions appropriately.
    3. Collaborate with team members and other departments to enhance sales efforts.
    4. Passionate about our mission and the programs we are running.
  4. Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Ability to work/reside in the Camp Cho-Yeh’s vicinity year round and occasionally travel for training or networking.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE  

Two to three years of sales experience and/or training, specifically in-person, door to door, high ticket sales via phone or zoom, or equivalent combination of education and experience. 

LANGUAGE SKILLS 

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.  Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization. Bilingual Spanish/English given preference.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS  

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.  Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. 

REASONING ABILITY  

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.  Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. 

TIME MANAGEMENT ABILITY 

Ability to effectively manage their own time and have great attention to detail.  Ability to show initiative and function as a self-starter.  

PHYSICAL DEMANDS 

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use fingers and hands to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.  The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk.  The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.  Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, and distance vision.
