University of Health Sciences and Pharmacy in St. Louis is seeking a part-time Athletics Communications Assistant to assist the University’s Sports Information department and athletic home event staff during the fall 2024, and/or spring 2025 semesters.  As an assistant, you will aid with aspects relating to college sports information and game management, including some or all the following: website content, event staff management, social media graphics, photography, videography, game statistics, and ticketing.  To see a complete list of all sports sponsored by the University, visit www.eutecticsports.com.   

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Strong interest in sports media, mass communications, media production, and/or sports management.
  • Experience or demonstrated involvement with athletics or sports related activities is preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of or the ability and interest in learning about various aspects of small college sports information duties.
  • Demonstrated strong interpersonal, organizational, and outstanding communication skills (oral and written) with the demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule (averaging up to 10 hours per week) which includes evenings, weekends, and holidays, according to the demands of the role and tasks.
