POSITION OVERVIEW:
La Familia’s Recovery and Wellness Department has provided SUD services for Alameda County residents since the 1970s. Alameda County Behavioral Health Care Services (BHCS) is in the process of implementing the Drug Medi-Cal Organized Delivery System (ODS), a new approach to integrate care for individuals with co-occurring disorders. La Familia is excited about continuing and expanding our SUD clinical services under this new system and becoming a leader in the treatment of co-occurring disorders. This role will uphold and champion the agency’s mission, vision, and values and contribute to a collaborative and inclusive work culture.

Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities:
- Provide supervision and monitoring of residents.
- Ensure that residents comply with schedules.
- Make written notes as needed to document interventions, client behavior, and treatment progress.
- Answer the telephone and the door.
- Detect and implement appropriate disciplinary reports and actions on client misbehavior and rule violations.
- Perform some filing and other general office duties.
- Perform routine maintenance duties as needed.
- Able to think and act quickly and efficiently in emergencies.
- Comply with all safety policies and procedures, including workplace safety, reporting work related injuries, and preventing potential safety risks for staff, clients and others.
- Respond to telephone calls pertaining to crisis, request for referrals, and requests for alcohol and drug information.
- Make medication available to clients during Medication Times.
- Other duties as assigned by the Program Supervisor.
