POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Peer Respite Supervisor for the Neptune Forensic Peer Respite Program monitors the delivery and provision of high-quality and effective services, and ensures annual operations fall within budget requirements and implements processes that ensure county and state compliance. The Peer Respite Supervisor reports to the Director of Community Mental Health Support Programs. The Supervisor ensures the program is strengths-based, goal-driven, culturally responsive, trauma-informed, gender-responsive, all-gender-inclusive, and family-focused; oversees the program including needs assessments and service delivery; Conducts professional development for staff; coordinate with ACPD/DPOs; ensures contract compliance, maintains data collection practices, demonstrates progress towards agreed upon participant and program outcomes, collects and incorporates feedback to improve offerings and relationships. Will supervise program staff as indicated in the Program Staffing Chart. The Forensic Peer Respite Supervisor will innovate and maintain program services that foster mental wellness and reintegration while supporting the resident’s independence. The Supervisor aims to reduce further justice involvement through their work.

Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities:
Administrative Duties:
- Create Program Manual
- Develop and maintain a coordinated delivery system for all program components;
- Monitor the delivery and provision of quality and effective services;
- Monitor and ensure annual operation within budget requirements;
- Monitor contract performance to ensure that goals and objectives are met;
- Recruit, hire, and train program staff
- Oversee and evaluate staff training
- Develop and complete compliance reports as assigned;
- Develop a database to track KPIs related to the program deliverables;
- Monitor and assist in the development of potential funding sources to support needed services;
- Provide technical assistance to internal and external efforts to secure funding and referral sources for agency;
- Develop and implement training, workshops, and other activities for agency staff;
- In the absence of the Program Director, perform duties required to maintain the delivery of services and respond
- Must be able to respond to emergencies for the program
- Meet with staff weekly for 1:1 supervision
- Provides oversight to the daily functioning and programming of the Peer Respite House including: staff schedules, maintenance of food and house supplies, a system to assign and track completion of chores
- Stay up to date on the local and state policies related to Peer Respite facilities
Contract Management:
- Serve as a liaison with all funders on all programmatic and operations issues.
- Attend all funder-required meetings, events, and training.
- Ensure delivery of program elements in compliance with contract language.
- Submit all necessary documents and reports to funders by deadlines.
- Work with the supervisor and La Familia Administration to ensure appropriate contract expenditures.

- Attend trainings and participate in events relevant to key responsibilities
- Track and regularly report on key metrics for responsible function areas
- Leads and collaborate on special projects related to agency objectives as appropriate
