POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Clinical Supervisor in collaboration with the Leadership Team provides oversight and support to clinical and non-clinical staff assigned to the Stan Connect program which provides outreach, linkage, individual support, and direct services to community members in Riverbank, Airport District, and West Modesto. The Clinical Supervisor will also assist with policy and procedure development, program implementation, and goal achievement. The Clinical Supervisor will collaborate with government agencies, community-based organizations, and partners to benefit the communities we serve. This role will uphold and champion the agency’s mission, vision, and values and contribute to a collaborative and inclusive work culture.

Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities: 

Staff Supervision

  • Provide clinical supervision to direct service staff including, but not limited to:
    • Conduct weekly individual clinical supervision for Trainees/Interns, and Staff Therapists (which may include AMFT/LMFT, ASW/LCSW, or Registered Psychologist staff) in compliance with standards set by the Board of Behavioral Sciences and Board of Psychology;
    • Participate in weekly group supervision for all programs.
    • Documentation Review and Quality Assurance Support
    • Review documentation in the electronic health records system to evaluate and approve clinical documentation completed by program staff such as assessments, diagnoses, treatment plans, progress notes, screening tools, etc. 

Contract Management

  • Serve as a liaison with all funders on all programmatic and operations issues.
  • Attend all funder-required meetings, events, and training.
  • Ensure delivery of program elements in compliance with contract language.
  • Submit all necessary documents and reports to funders by deadlines.
  • Work with the supervisor and La Familia Administration to ensure appropriate contract expenditures. 

Other 

  • Attend trainings and participate in events relevant to key responsibilities
  • Track and regularly report on key metrics for responsible function areas
  • Leads and collaborates on special projects related to agency objectives as appropriate 

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Be a qualified Clinical Supervisor per standards set forth by the California Boards of Behavioral Health/Psychology: maintain active and unrestricted LPHA license (e.g., Psychologist, LCSW, LMFT, LPCC), including a minimum of 6 hours of Supervisory Continuing Education Units per license renewal period. Proof of completion of these hours shall be available on request.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of Substance Use Disorders and their treatment using various, evidence-based approaches.
  • Non-Profit and Community-Based Organization experience is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrates and models excellent “customer service” orientation, especially in the ability to interact with people at all levels within and outside the agency.
  • Thinks independently and can make informed decisions when needed. 
  • Exercises extreme discretion with the ability to hold, balance, and transmit public and confidential information needed by various parties. 
  • Proficient in using MS Office products, particularly Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
  • Acquires or maintains proficiency in using Google Drive products, including Docs, Sheets, and Forms.
  • Valid CA Driver’s license
    • Auto insurance:  Personal vehicles may be used for business-related purposes; it is recommended you inform your auto insurance carrier.   
  • Current state-mandated guidelines require employees in this position to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19, including booster shots.
