Position Summary
Westhaven Golf Club is seeking a personable and organized Evening Host to join our team in the main dining room. This role is vital in providing exceptional guest experiences and ensuring smooth operations during evening service. If you thrive in a dynamic environment and have a passion for hospitality, we would love to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:

Guest Reception: Warmly greet and welcome members and their guests upon arrival, ensuring a friendly and inviting atmosphere.

Seating Management: Efficiently manage the seating chart to optimize table turnover and minimize wait times, while accommodating special requests.

Communication: Act as a liaison between the dining room staff and kitchen to ensure timely service and address any guest needs or concerns.

Reservations Management: Handle reservations and walk-ins using our reservation system, confirming details and special requests.

Table Preparation: Oversee table settings and ensure that dining areas are clean, organized, and properly presented for guests.

Menu Knowledge: Maintain a thorough understanding of the menu offerings and daily specials to assist guests with inquiries.

To-Go Orders: Take and process to-go orders from members, ensuring accuracy and timely preparation, while providing information about menu items and specials.

Event Coordination: Assist in the preparation and execution of special events and private dining experiences, coordinating with other staff as needed.

Team Support: Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure a seamless dining experience, stepping in to assist as necessary.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a host or front-of-house role in a restaurant or hospitality setting preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Basic knowledge of dining etiquette and fine dining service preferred.
