QUALIFICATIONS:
Required:
- Graduate of an Occupational Therapy program accredited by the American Occupational Therapy Association
- Valid and current California Occupational Therapy license in good standing
- Current BLS and First Aid required
- Knowledge of proper body mechanics to avoid work-related injuries, and the ability to educate other staff on proper body mechanics.
Preferred:
- At least one year of clinical experience working with the older adult population.
- Advanced Practice in Dysphagia strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of therapy equipment and technology, including aerobic and strength conditioning equipment tailored to the older adult population and use of mechanical assist devices.
- Minimum two years clinical experience with adults with as an Occupational Therapist.
- Valid CA driver’s license with good driving history (last 5 years)
LANGUAGE:
- Must be able to fluently speak, read and write English.
- Fluency in Chinese (Cantonese) preferred.
- Fluency in other languages is an asset.
STATUS:
- This is an FLSA Exempt position.
- This is not an OSHA high-risk position.
- This is a Full Time position.
