Position Responsibilities

  • Implement and execute the vision of NewSpring church and the Missions, Pillars and Standards (MPS) of each ministry area, reach the city you pastor in, and Shepherd the flock of your campus by doing the following: 
    • Commitment to developing leadership through diligence in all areas of life, emulating an attitude like Jesus.
    • Lead and develop the Greenville staff team (through consistent 1:1 and team meetings) to be a healthy, unified, high capacity team in line with our values.  Ensure your staff is doing the same for the volunteer and staff teams they lead, developing a culture of releasing ministry and multiplying leadership among staff and volunteer teams
    • Ensure implementation and consistent excellent execution of the Mission, Pillars, and Standards created by our Ministry Support Teams in each area of ministry.  
    • Be present in all ministry environments regularly and communicate publicly through service hosting. 
    • Provide feedback to Lead Team, Campus Pastors, Ministry Support Teams, and Campus Teams consistently to strengthen our church in every direction.
    • Pull Campus Ministry teams and Ministry Support teams together into alignment and unity.
    • Be responsible and accountable for every aspect of the Campus and oversee all Campus level NewSpring events.
    • Build relationships with other churches and organizations in the community.
    • Create consistent and clear opportunities for people to step in and grow at NewSpring Church. 
    • At the Greenville campus specifically we must consistently evaluate capacity challenges and implement strategies with joy and unity that enable us to continue to grow.
    • Discipleship - growing ourselves, our staff, our leaders, our team members, and our congregation in every sense of the word.  Shepherding and supporting our campus staff.

Qualifications

  • Do whatever it takes to help the church reach its mission to see everyone, everywhere in an everyday relationship. Occasionally this will mean performing duties and tasks outside of your normal job responsibilities.
  • Uphold Biblical priorities in life, in the order outline below:
    1. Growing personal relationship with Jesus
    2. Relationship with spouse (if married)
    3. Relationship with children (if applicable)
    4. Purpose in life/ministry
  • Develop personal evangelism opportunities within and outside the church.
  • Adhere to and encompass the qualities and characteristics required of NewSpring Church staff members, as defined by the Policies and Procedures Handbook.
  • Financially support the vision of NewSpring Church by faithfully giving at least 10% of gross income.
